Not all cattle are cows? Female cattle are called
cows or hefers. Male cattle are called bulls or
steers. Elk are also referred to as bulls or cows

Most animals have only bottom teeth. Here at
Wagontrails donkeys, zebra, and horses are
the only animals with top and bottom teeth.

Horns are found on cattle and antelope. These
animals get one set of horns for life. Females
also can get horns.

Antlers are found on deer and elk. These animals
shed their antlers each spring. New antlers grow
up to an inch a day until they stop growing in the
fall. Only males get antlers.
